All my imperfections are perfect.
I thought starting a new fashion line is supposed to be happy and exciting,
But here I am, stuck wondering, thinking about whether I am making the right decision or a big mistake.
After 2 years improving myself in spirituality, I realize I need to serve my vision and I chose to start by creating a more sustainable fashion line.
My visions became clear during one of my meditation sessions, and that was to build a clothing line that will make everyone feel beautiful in their own skin & also to spread self-love.
After many, many discussions, the steps becoming clearer.
First, I need to help other artisans promote their products, starting from traditional woven artists.
I stumbled upon Katazome, a traditional Japanese process of transferring patterns from paper to textiles using natural fabric & dye sourced from woods & leaves.
I learnt Katazome from an Indonesian local artist, Aldi from Tumenggung.
During the learning process, I also learnt to let go of my control, let go of the pressure to be perfect, & finally be able to accept & love the journey that gets me to the result.
Just like every batch of dye is different shades of pink & orange, imperfect yet unique in their own way.
And in the end, I learnt to honour my effort by letting go of expectations & finally able to embrace every outcome.
When you accept who you truly are, you will feel more grateful, and you will invite more blessings into your life.
I accept myself unconditionally
